Dima

Hello!

My name is Dima Temnikov and I am your host.

I am originally from Ottawa and am currently living in sunny California.

I studied Mechanical Engineering at Queen’s University and I followed that up with a master’s of science in Energy Systems at the University of Melbourne. I was the first employee of a solar photovoltaic startup where I spent a couple of years learning about business and the solar sector. I am on a mission to contribute to a more sustainable energy future.

I am a huge fan of podcasts. I listen to about 2 hours of content every day (sped up by 50%). This new media enables people to share stories like never before. With scientists and engineers making up only a small fraction of the population, many grow up without ever meeting a STEM professional. I started this podcast to bridge this gap. I hope that these interviews will inspire and inform the next generation of curious thinkers and tinkerers, and open their eyes to the wonderful worlds of engineering.

Feel free to reach out to me at [email protected].

I’m also on Linkedin, Twitter, and Instagram.

All the best!
